Letter campaign regarding TV White Space

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has proposed rules to allow access to the unused spectrum, known as “white space”, in VHF and UHF TV channels 5 - 51 for unlicensed broadband applications starting in February 2009, one year from now. This proposal provides WISPs a great new opportunity for last mile broadband deployment. The propagation characteristics in this spectrum are optimal for longer transmission distances and building/object penetration, translating to lower costs and high quality user experiences for you and your customers. To make this incredible opportunity a reality, the FCC must be persuaded by Congress, industry, and consumers to expeditiously complete the final order on this white space proposal.   We urge you to support this opportunity in all or any of the following ways:

1. Mail a letter to your Congressman and Senators, urging them to contact the FCC and request quick completion of this decision.
2. Electronically file a letter on the FCC filing site, urging them to quickly complete this order.
3. Ask your customers to mail a letter to their Congressman and Senators and/or electronically file a letter with the FCC.
